The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and repair of tissue paper / napkin manufacturing machines to ensure smooth and continuous production.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of tissue napkin machines, rewinder machines, embossing, folding, and cutting machines
Attend to mechanical breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime
Install, align, and dismantle mechanical parts such as shafts, bearings, belts, chains, gears, rollers, and conveyors
Perform lubrication, tightening, adjustment, and replacement of worn-out parts
Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and trial runs
Read and understand basic mechanical drawings and machine layouts
Maintain maintenance logs and breakdown records
Coordinate with production team for planned maintenance activities
