JD- Mechanical fitter (RM, BB & WP)

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems within the Rolling mill, Bright bar and Wire Plant (e.g., rollers, bearings, gearboxes).

Assemble, fit, and install mechanical parts and systems for mill equipment. Diagnose faults, identify worn or faulty components, and repair or replace them as needed. Ensure alignment and proper functioning of mill stands, guides, and chocks. Maintain hydraulic systems used in rolling mill processes. Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with the maintenance schedule. Operate hand tools, power tools, welding, and cutting equipment as needed. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies. Collaborate with electrical and operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Maintain maintenance records and documentation for work performed.
