Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ITI Fitter with 2-3 years of hands-on

experience in mechanical fitting and assembly work. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for reading technical drawings, assembling mechanical components,

maintaining equipment, and ensuring the efficient running of plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions. Assemble mechanical parts and systems with precision and accuracy. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machines and mechanical
systems.

Fit and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and machines. Carry out welding, grinding, and drilling operations as needed. Ensure tools and machines are properly maintained and kept in good working
condition.

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies. Report faults, defects, and maintenance needs to the supervisor. Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and production staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

ITI Fitter Trade certification (NCVT/SCVT). 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role. Good knowledge of mechanical components, machines, and tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Hands-on experience with fitting, fabrication, and assembly work. Familiarity with machine tools (lathe, drill, grinder, etc.) is a plus. Basic welding and fabrication knowledge is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in shifts if required.
