Job Title: Maintenance Executive - Mechanical

Location:Raipur

Department: Engineering & Maintenance

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Executive will be responsible for the upkeep and efficient functioning of mechanical equipment at the agrochemical plant, including reactors, centrifuges, spray fluid dryers (SFDs), pumps, and pipelines. This role involves routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, supporting shutdown activities, and ensuring minimal downtime to maintain production continuity and plant safety.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Equipment Maintenance:

Carry out routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of:

Reactors

Centrifuges

Spray Fluid Dryers (SFDs)

Pumps, valves, agitators, pipelines, and mechanical seals.

Ensure all equipment is operating within defined performance parameters.

2. Troubleshooting & Repairs:



Diagnose mechanical faults and coordinate quick repairs to minimize downtime.

Replace or repair damaged parts, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

Maintain spares inventory and raise indent requests as needed.

3. Shutdown & Turnaround Support

:

Assist in planning and executing plant shutdown maintenance activities.

Coordinate with production, safety, and engineering teams for smooth execution.

4. Documentation & Reporting:



Maintain records of daily maintenance activities, equipment logs, and downtime reports.

Prepare maintenance schedules, checklists, and work orders.

Ensure proper documentation for internal audits and safety inspections.

5. Safety & Compliance

:

Adhere to all safety protocols and SOPs during maintenance activities.

Ensure safe working conditions and the use of proper PPE and tools.

Participate in safety drills, audits, and regular training sessions.

Qualifications:



2-5 years of experience in a chemical/agrochemical or process industry preferred.

Skills & Competencies:



Hands-on experience with rotating and static mechanical equipment.

Basic knowledge of utility systems (compressed air, chillers, etc.) is a plus.

Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and team coordination abilities.

Working Conditions:



On-site, full-time role in a chemical manufacturing environment.

May require shift work and availability during emergencies or plant shutdowns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
