Position: Maintenance Engineer

Level: Mid-Level

Reporting To: Maintenance Head

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience

Salary Range: 40K - 75K (On the base of skills and Interview Performance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer for our production team in the furniture industry (Retail). The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining, repairing equipment utilized in production. This position demands a proactive individual who can uphold high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance checks on production equipment and machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs made to equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during maintenance operations. Participate in the continuous improvement processes by suggesting enhancements to existing maintenance practices.

Required Skills & Competency:

Strong proficiency in Machine Maintenance. (Machine like Beam Saw, Edge Bending, Panel Saw, CNC, Compressor Screw etc.) Proven experience in Maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the furniture industry (Retail).
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Qualification & Experience:

BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
