Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of all technical and mechanical systems within the resort. This includes maintaining power systems (generators, boilers, pressure motors), electrical and plumbing work, IT infrastructure (internet, routers, server room), and setting up event spaces such as banquet halls and intercom systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Power & Mechanical Systems

Perform routine checks and maintenance on generators (gensets), boilers, and pressure motors. Troubleshoot and repair faults in mechanical systems. Ensure power backup systems are functioning properly at all times.

2. Electrical & Wiring

Conduct electrical maintenance, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution around the resort. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime. Install and maintain electrical panels, breakers, and switches.

3. Plumbing & Water Systems

Inspect and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, and sewage. Repair leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures in guest rooms and public areas. Ensure proper functioning of water pressure motors and heaters.

4. IT & Networking

Set up and maintain internet routers and network infrastructure. Configure and manage the resort's server room. Troubleshoot basic IT issues related to Wi-Fi, intercom, and communication systems.

5. Event & Facility Setup

Set up electrical and audio-visual systems in banquet halls for events. Ensure intercom and public address systems are in working order. Assist in the maintenance of entertainment and security systems (CCTV, sound systems).

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or IT Engineering. 2+ years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably in hospitality or resorts. Hands-on knowledge of gensets, boilers, pressure motors, electrical wiring, and IT networking. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and IT-related issues efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision. Basic understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance techniques.

Work Environment:

Requires working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. May involve lifting, climbing, and working at heights. Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per resort requirements.
