ey Responsibilities:1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of all electrical and mechanical systems, machines, and equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, schedules, and work performed. Minimize downtime by responding quickly to equipment failures and breakdowns.

2. Troubleshooting & Repairs

Diagnose faults and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues in both electrical and mechanical systems. Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, bearings, sensors, wiring, PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

3. Installation & Commissioning

Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and systems. Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical standards during installations.

4. Safety & Compliance

Adhere to all health and safety policies, regulations, and standards. Ensure proper use of PPE and safe maintenance practices at all times.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain logs for breakdowns, repairs, spares usage, and inspection reports. Assist in creating maintenance SOPs and checklists.

6. Coordination

Liaise with production and other departments to plan maintenance activities with minimal disruption. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or equipment servicing.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.

Experience:

3+ years in a maintenance role within a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of both electrical (motors, panels, PLCs, wiring) and mechanical systems (pumps, conveyors, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Proficient in using maintenance tools, instruments, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO).

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in PLC programming, industrial safety, or reliability engineering. Experience with lean maintenance practices and 5S methodology.

Working Conditions:

May require shift work or on-call availability during weekends or holidays. Work may involve standing, climbing, and exposure to noise, dust, and high-voltage equipment.
