Role Overview

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of offset printing machinery. This includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and maintain high-quality print output.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute

preventive and corrective maintenance

for offset printing machines (e.g., Heidelberg, Komori). Diagnose and resolve

Electronics, electrical, and pneumatic faults

in printing equipment. Maintain detailed

maintenance logs

, service records, and spare parts inventory. Collaborate with production teams to ensure

minimal disruption

during maintenance activities. Conduct

routine inspections

and calibrations to maintain print quality and machine efficiency. Ensure compliance with

safety standards

and company protocols. Provide

technical support

during machine installation, upgrades, or relocation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in

Electronics, Electrical Engineering

or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in offset printing machine maintenance. Hands-on experience with

sheet-fed and web offset presses

. Strong knowledge of

hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-based systems

. Ability to read and interpret

technical manuals and schematics

. Proficiency in

MS Office

for reporting and documentation. Excellent

problem-solving and communication skills

.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with

Heidelberg, Mitsubishi, or Komori

presses. Familiarity with

TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)

practices. Exposure to

ISO quality systems

and lean manufacturing environments.
