Job Description

Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance. Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment. Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. Removing old equipment and installing new machines. Proving technical support and training on new equipment. Responding to customer call-outs. Adhering to all safety and performance regulations. Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Proven work experience as a maintenance engineer. Knowledge of EPA and OSHA guidelines. Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems. Ability to read system schematics. Understanding of safety and equipment procedures. Good communication and training skills. Ability to work with heavy equipment. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment Overseeing and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs and installations Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation Diagnosing faults and investigating equipment breakdowns Advising on equipment upgrades or replacements based on its current condition and operational requirements Documenting all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference Training maintenance staff and managing their work schedules Performing root cause analysis on major failures and recommending necessary action to prevent recurrence
