Overview:

Maintenance Engineer/Technician - Mechanical
Responsibilities:
Attaining Zero Break Down for the equipment's thereby increasing the plant equipment efficiency and increase in productivity Experience with CNC machines, gearboxes, conveyor systems, and presses. Experienced in Maintenance of Cutting Tools, Fixtures, Tightening tools, VMC & HMC machines of NTC, MAG, Heller and Nagel Honing. Repair or replace worn or defective mechanical parts with precision and safety. Implementing kaizens, poka-yoke and Innovation for continuous improvement process in the plant Troubleshooting of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems. Inhouse servicing of Mechanical Spares and knowledgeable in powertrain systems Maintain 5S of Shop floor and Maintenance area Maintaining and repairing various systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as related components like motors, pumps, valves, and cylinders. Knowledge in basic trouble shooting of Robot FANUC systems Good Knowledge in Mechanical maintenance of Engine shop machineries

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Essential skills:

a) Technical Shall have good knowledge in Spindle problems (bearings, run-out), ball screw issues, backlash, axis alignment, tool changers, chucks/fixturing, vibration, and general wear and tear.


Shall have good Knowledge in Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems


Shall have good knowledge in spindle,shaft alignment & Lead screw maintenance.


Shall have good knowledge in Energy management.


Shall have good knowledge on Spare part management


Shall have basic knowledge in Electrical and Controls Troubleshooting

Experience:

4 to 6 Years in Automobile Industry preferably from Engine shop or Power train assembly.
