A leading chemical industry is looking for Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment and systems in a chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and complies with industry regulations. This role involves preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of plant processes.Key Responsibilities:Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all plant equipment (pumps, valves, reactors, heat exchangers, etc.)Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues and recommend long-term solutions.Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and documentation in compliance with safety and quality standards.Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to support production goals and minimize downtime.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including hazardous material handling.Manage maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.Contribute to capital projects and equipment upgrades, including design, installation, and commissioning.Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders, inspections, and equipment history.Train and mentor maintenance technicians as needed.RequirementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).28 years of maintenance experience in a chemical or process manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pressure systems, and plant utilities.Familiarity with maintenance tools, predictive maintenance techniques, and CMMS software.Understanding of safety standards such as OSHA, PSM, and HAZOP.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
