We are seeking a dedicated Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance person to join our production company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical equipment and systems essential to our salt production process. Your primary focus will be on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience in industrial maintenance, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment used in salt production, including crushers, conveyors, pumps, and packaging machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and mechanical failures, diagnosing issues and implementing timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize maintenance activities and optimize equipment uptime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in mechanical systems, proposing and implementing solutions as appropriate.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the commissioning and decommissioning of equipment, including installation, testing, and removal as necessary.
Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Stay informed about new technologies, trends, and best practices in mechanical maintenance, applying knowledge to enhance operational effectiveness.
