We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage circuits in commercial and industrial settings.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately perform wiring and system modifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues effectively.
Maintain compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and ensure all work adheres to safety regulations.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime and extend system lifespan.
Assist with renovation projects by framing carpentry and construction site work as needed.
Read schematics and blueprints for complex electrical systems involving Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation components.
Conduct low voltage wiring installations for control panels, security systems, or communication networks.
Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or upgrades to ensure electrical systems meet project specifications.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
Experience
Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical systems.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
Knowledge of NEC standards, high voltage systems, low voltage controls, and safety protocols is essential.
Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in industrial automation environments is highly desirable.
Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers; power tools including drills; testing instruments like ohmmeters; and power equipment safely.
Ability to perform renovation tasks such as framing carpentry or maintenance person repairs related to electrical installations.
Strong understanding of construction processes combined with electrical expertise ensures seamless project execution.
