Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations for production machinery, equipment, and systems.
2. Ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency, reducing downtime and maximizing productivity.
3. Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers in executing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
4. Prioritize and schedule maintenance work orders to meet operational requirements and minimize disruption to production schedules.
5. Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports.
6. Coordinate with the production and operations teams to ensure minimal downtime during planned maintenance activities.
7. Diagnose mechanical failures and issues, determining the root cause and implementing corrective actions.
8. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members during emergency breakdowns and mechanical failures.
9. Continuously evaluate equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
11. Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring that the maintenance team follows safe working practices.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement) to optimize maintenance strategies.
Qualification
1. Minimum 5- 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
2. Proven experience in leading maintenance teams and managing projects.
3. Strong background in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
4. Knowledge of mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, HVAC, and electrical/mechanical interfaces.
5. Excellent communication skills.
