Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

Maintenance Technician

to carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a technical background in

Electrical, Mechanical, or Welding

, with hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventive and breakdown maintenance on machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and welding-related issues. Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear, and carry out necessary repairs. Maintain electrical panels, motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and welding equipment. Respond to maintenance requests from departments and resolve issues promptly. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities. Ensure safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed at all times. Assist in installation of new machinery or equipment. Report and escalate major repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. Coordinate with external service providers if required.

1-3 years of experience

in maintenance (plant, facility, or equipment). Good understanding of safety practices, tools, and equipment used in maintenance.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of basic electrical wiring, motor control, and mechanical systems. Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus. Ability to read technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and instruction manuals. Familiarity with basic computer operations for logging maintenance records.

Working Conditions:

Physically fit and able to lift tools, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. May require working in shifts, weekends, or on-call duty during breakdowns. Work environment may include industrial noise, dust, heat, or outdoor conditions.
