- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise team of mechanical engineers to oversee and service day-to-day operations.
- Design and implement machinery upgrades, overhauls, and replacements.
- Evaluate processes for operational and cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot processes to reduce rates of errors, breakages, and sub-standard production.
- Lead cross-functional team in implementing across-the-board improvements to production process.
- Create protocols for regular maintenance, inspection, and service to optimize machinery function and to avoid breakdowns.
- Compose reports setting forth results of assessments and evaluations, as well as a plan for further indicated action.
- Ensure project completion within time and budget constraints.
- Implement protocols for testing and quality-controlling new processes.
- Train engineering team in applicable health and safety standards and procedures.
