Job Description

:
Install, customize, and maintain z/OS operating system software and related products, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security.
Perform system software upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities in alignment with change management processes.
Monitor system performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Configure and manage system components such as system resources, storage devices, data sets, and security settings.
Implement and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) solutions for mainframe systems.
Collaborate with other IT teams to support application development, testing, and production environments on the mainframe platform.
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and operational standards related to mainframe system administration.
Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users, troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
Stay current with emerging mainframe technologies, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge within the team.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Mainframe z/OS system administration.
