Job Description

Experience with z/Architectures, preferably on z/OS

Strong hands-on IPL / POR procedures and knowledge on Automation

Production Support and ABEND handling

Knowledge in z/OS, SMP/E, JES, TSO / ISPF, DFSMS, VTAM, RACF, CICS, DB2, Datacom/AD and Administration commands

Work experience in HMC console monitoring, master console monitoring and VTAM monitoring

Knowledge in RACF / ACF2 to provide User access privileges

Knowledge in IBM utilities - ADDRSU, FDR, IEFBR14, IEBCOMPR, IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, IDCAMS, ICKDSF, IEHINITT,

Experience in Monitoring and Administration Tools OEM/ISV Tools -OMEGAMON, Mainview, Sysview

Experience in Tape, DASD storage management and tools - DFHSM, VTS, $AVRS and dispatch tools

Experience in REXX, CLIST, JCL, OMVS, CA7/11, CA-Endeavor

Experience in participating in DR drills
