Job Description

Role and Responsibilities Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL & DB2 to meet support and/or project requirements.
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
• Work with IT support teams (EIA, DA/DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
• Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle
• Ability to manage change and be open to it along with good time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
• Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing

. Desired Candidate Profile

• 2 to 6 yrs of relevant experience in Mainframe Testing
• Good hands-on experience in JCL, DB2, VSAM & CICS/Basic knowledge on Cobol
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively
