Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement a modernization strategy for Mainframe Infrastructure that focuses on enhancing innovation, automation, productivity, and efficiency. This includes z/OS/ISV upgrades, PTF management, and the integration of AIOps.
Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to Sysprogs on Mainframe modernization, emphasizing the use of Ansible, Python, and other latest tools such as z/OSMF, Watson X for z, and AIOps.
Opportunity Identification: Leverage your extensive knowledge of Mainframe architecture to identify and prioritize modernization opportunities.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sysprogs, SDMs, vendors, and clients to maximize the use of our capabilities and services.
Business Development: Work alongside the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to Mainframe strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
