Job Summary

• Proficiency in Design and developing mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM & IMS DB
• Work with Product Owners, Operations, country/business stakeholders to understand the requirement, design and prepare technical solutions
• Coordinate and work with interface partners to build or enhance or test any surrounding systems
• Should manage a delivery from inception till delivery complying to SDLC standards
• Assist support team to resolve critical production issues
• Code review, test case and test results review
• Independent testing (ST/SIT/OAT/UAT/UVT) Support
• Implementation and post implementation support
• Identify and optimize high resource intensive/expensive process/transaction/jobs
• Application training or change walkthrough to business/country Ops

Key Responsibilities

• COBOL, CICS, VSAM, IMS Database, JCL, DFSORT/ICETOOL, Endevor, XPEDITOR, Agile methodologies, SCRUM, ADO or JIRA, Web services (JSON, XML), MQ
• Experience in managing mainframe application delivery
• Good understanding on Agile methodologies and able to work with various teams/team members across multiple geographies
• Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

Skills and Experience

• Micro focus Cobol, Enterprise Developer, Enterprise Server
• Trade Finance/Banking Domain
• Mainframe to Microfocus migration experience
