Proficiency in Design and developing mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM & IMS DB
Work with Product Owners, Operations, country/business stakeholders to understand the requirement, design and prepare technical solutions
Coordinate and work with interface partners to build or enhance or test any surrounding systems
Should manage a delivery from inception till delivery complying to SDLC standards
Assist support team to resolve critical production issues
Code review, test case and test results review
Independent testing (ST/SIT/OAT/UAT/UVT) Support
Implementation and post implementation support
Identify and optimize high resource intensive/expensive process/transaction/jobs
Application training or change walkthrough to business/country Ops
Key Responsibilities
COBOL, CICS, VSAM, IMS Database, JCL, DFSORT/ICETOOL, Endevor, XPEDITOR, Agile methodologies, SCRUM, ADO or JIRA, Web services (JSON, XML), MQ
Experience in managing mainframe application delivery
Good understanding on Agile methodologies and able to work with various teams/team members across multiple geographies
Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
