We are seeking a seasoned Mainframe Lead to oversee the development maintenance and optimization of mainframe systems This role involves leading a team of developers ensuring system reliability and implementing best practices for performance security and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage mainframe development teams across project lifecycles Design develop and maintain applications using COBOL JCL CICS DB2 and IMS Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ensure high availability performance and scalability of mainframe systems Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices Implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure data security compliance Guide modernization efforts and integration with distributed systems Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues Maintain documentation for system architecture and processes

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field 6 years of experience in mainframe development and architecture Proficiency in COBOL JCL CICS DB2 and IMS Experience with scripting languages like REXX Shell or Groovy Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and tools Familiarity with DevOps CI CD and Agile Scrum methodologies Excellent problem solving analytical and communication skills Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams
