This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.Contributing to current projects where you analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate system. This role isnt specific to any one platform, so youll need a good feel for all of them. And because of this, youll experience variety and growth at Kyndryl that you wont find anywhere else.Youll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. And finally, youre open and borderless naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Expertisexc2xb712 to 17 Years of Experience in AS/400 Operating System Support.xc2xb7 iSeries H/W and S/W config, install, migration and maintenance.xc2xb7 iSeires PTF/APAR management.xc2xb7 Backup and Recovery management using BRMS.xc2xb7 OS/400 Security Management.xc2xb7 Problem and Change Management process and tool knowledge.xc2xb7 Performance and Capacity Management (PM400 and Perf Navigator).xc2xb7 iSeries Job Schedulers - Robot, IBM Advanced Job Scheduler (IJS) and the Native Job Scheduler (WRKJOBSCDE).- Power system, VIOS and HMC management- Expertise knowledge in High Availabilityxc2xb7 PCI and SOX Compliance knowledge.xc2xb7 IBM supported network architecture and configurations - TCP/IP, SNI, SNA.xc2xb7 New system builds and decommissionPreferred Technical and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.

• Knowledge on iSeries environment with VIOS/External storage and Virtual Tape Library like ProtecTier/DSI VTL/EMC Data domain.

• Knowledge of Automation/Monitoring tool.

• Working knowledge on Power6/Power7/Power8/Power9.
