Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mainframe applications supporting

Accounts Payable

and other financial operations Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions Write and optimize COBOL, JCL, and DB2 code for high-volume financial transactions Conduct system analysis, debugging, and performance tuning Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls Document technical specifications and support testing and deployment activities Support integration and enhancement of

Infor AP

modules (if applicable)

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in

mainframe development

(COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS) Solid understanding of

financial business processes

, especially

Accounts Payable workflows

Familiarity with batch and online processing in high-throughput environments Experience with debugging and testing tools (e.g., File-Aid, Abend-AID) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred Skills

Experience with Infor AP

on mainframe platforms Knowledge of

1099 processing

ACH payments

, and

check reconciliation

Understanding of

SOX compliance

and financial audit practices Exposure to Agile or Waterfall development methodologies Strong communication and documentation skills
