Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using

Mainframe Assembler

. Work on

migration initiatives

from Mainframe to Java, Cloud, or similar modern technologies. Perform deep-dive debugging, code analysis, and issue resolution in Assembler modules. Write clean and efficient code in

Java

(minimum 2 years' experience required). Participate in requirement discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle including development, testing, and support.

Required Skills

7+ years

of strong hands-on experience in

Mainframe Assembler

2+ years of Java coding experience

(mandatory). Solid experience in

migration projects

from Mainframe to Java/Cloud. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Good understanding of SDLC processes and Mainframe development workflows. Ability to work in hybrid mode and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
