Job Summary:Podar International School is looking for an experienced and passionate Main Teacher for Jr. KG who can create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood education and be able to support the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development of children aged 3.5 to 4.5 years.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities based on the curriculum guidelines provided by the school.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, learning, and independence.
• Track each childs development and maintain records of their progress, interests, and needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, updates, and progress reports.
• Create and organize classroom learning materials and visual displays.
• Encourage development in areas such as language, motor skills, social interaction, and creativity.
• Identify and respond to the individual needs of students, including those requiring additional support.
• Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness in compliance with school policies and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to manage the class effectively.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors Degree (preferably in Early Childhood Education or related field).
• Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCEd) is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a pre-primary or kindergarten setting.
• Strong command of English and effective communication skills.
• Warm, patient, and nurturing approach to young children.
• Strong classroom management skills and a positive attitude.
