We are looking for an experienced and skilled Main Cook to lead food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes for events and bulk catering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes as per menu requirements.
Plan daily production and ensure timely food preparation for events.
Maintain taste, quality, and presentation standards consistently.
Supervise kitchen helpers and assign tasks effectively.
Manage ingredient prep, portion control, and stock levels.
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety according to FSSAI standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen manager and service team for smooth operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Main Cook/Chef in a catering or hotel kitchen.
Strong knowledge of multi-cuisine/bulk cooking (as required).
Ability to manage pressure and large volumes during events.
Good leadership and communication skills.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
