Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in residential or commercial settings, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and clothing as needed. Provide floor care services such as carpet cleaning and maintenance of hard surface floors. Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in all cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards. Assist with cooking and meal preparation when required, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.

Experience

Previous experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is preferred, with an emphasis on attention to detail. Familiarity with janitorial practices and commercial cleaning standards is a plus. Experience in housekeeping management or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Skills in floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning methods, are highly desirable. A background in customer service will enhance the ability to meet client needs effectively.
