Magento 2 Developer

Experience: 8-12 yrs

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Magento 2 Developer to join our offshore development team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Magento 2, PHP, and modern eCommerce development practices, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2-based eCommerce applications. Design and implement features and functionality based on business requirements.

2. Build and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs for external system communication.

3. Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.

4. Collaborate with QA and project management teams to ensure successful delivery.

5. Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance eCommerce solutions.

Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in web development with at least 5 years in Magento 2. Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.

Good understanding of Magento 2 architecture, module development, theme customization.

Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs in Magento 2. Proficiency in Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for product search optimization. Hands-on experience with Git for version control and Docker for containerization. Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and Magento coding standards.

Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud (formerly Magento Commerce Cloud) is a plus. Experience with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit) is a bonus. Basic understanding of Linux commands and server environments. Good knowledge of eCommerce business models and workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Mandatory technical skills: PHP, MySQL, Magento 2, Javascript, GIT, Docker, Magento commerce cloud; GraphQL, React.js.

Additional Skills: Experience with Headless Magento / PWA Studio Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Understanding of multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency setups

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
