Key Responsibilities
Act as the
primary technical contact
for Magento application issues, incidents, and performance problems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve
issues across the stack -- application, web server, and database layers.
Work extensively with
Linux-based environments
to analyze logs, processes, and configurations.
Manage and optimize
Magento hosting environments
involving
Apache/Nginx
,
PHP-FPM
,
MySQL
,
Redis
, and
Elasticsearch
.
Handle
networking and infrastructure components
-- including
DNS configurations, SSL certificates, CDN integrations, and reverse proxies
.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and cloud teams to reproduce and resolve critical issues.
Monitor system performance, automate diagnostics, and identify root causes of recurring incidents.
Document fixes, maintain internal knowledge base articles, and suggest improvements to enhance customer experience.
Required Skills and Experience
2+ years of hands-on experience in Magento (Open Source or Adobe Commerce)
development or implementation.
Strong command over
PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
within the Magento ecosystem.
Excellent understanding of
Linux command line
, shell scripting, and server administration.
Working experience with
Apache or Nginx web servers
-- configuring vhosts, SSL, redirects, caching, etc.
Familiarity with
network-level concepts
-- DNS, CDN, SSL/TLS, load balancing, and firewalls.
Ability to analyze application logs, web server logs, and error reports.
Strong debugging mindset with a focus on
root cause analysis
