Job Description

We are seeking a talented

Magento Backend Developer

with strong experience in developing and maintaining Magento-based eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for backend module development, API integration, performance optimization, and ensuring code quality aligned with Magento best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 backend modules and extensions. Integrate third-party systems and APIs into Magento stores. Optimize backend performance, scalability, and database queries. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver robust solutions. Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of production issues. Manage deployment processes and maintain version control (Git). Ensure security and compliance with Magento coding standards. Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2-10years

of hands-on experience in

Magento 2 backend development

. Strong proficiency in

PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP APIs

. Solid understanding of

OOP, MVC architecture

, and

Composer

. Experience with

custom module development, theme integration, and extension upgrades

. Familiarity with

Magento Cloud / AWS / Linux environment

is a plus. Knowledge of

version control (Git), CI/CD, and Agile development

. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Magento 2 Certification

(Developer / Professional) preferred. Experience with

Headless Magento (GraphQL / PWA Studio)

is a plus. Understanding of

ElasticSearch, Redis, and Varnish caching

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
