To be successful as a MacOS Operations Manager you should have experience with:
MacOS platform management and lifecycle operations including deployment, patching, compliance, and security hardening.
Jamf Pro administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation, policy enforcement, and custom packaging.
Incident and problem management leadership with proven ability to drive resolution of complex issues across global teams.
Strategic planning and execution of infrastructure uplift initiatives, including GPO cleanup, telemetry improvements, and endpoint governance.
Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, controls, and cyber teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and integration with MDM platforms.
Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks, PII compliance, KRI uplift).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive summaries and recognition dashboards.
Mentoring and team development, with a track record of hiring and upskilling talent across L3 and Infra Ops teams.
Exposure to AI tooling enablement and product-centric transformation within desktop infrastructure.
