We are seeking an experienced Machinist (Turner) to join our manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in lathe operations and various machining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate lathe machines to produce precision parts as per engineering drawings Perform milling, drilling, rolling, and other machining operations Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Set up and calibrate machines for different operations Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy Maintain machines and tools in good working condition Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Turner/Machinist Proficiency in lathe operations (mandatory) Working knowledge of milling, drilling, rolling, and general machining Ability to read and understand engineering drawings in English Basic English communication for understanding work instructions Knowledge of measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.) Understanding of tolerances and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications:

ITI certificate in Turner/Fitter/Machinist trade Experience with both conventional and CNC machines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
