Machinist
Job Description
Machinist Job Responsibilities:r r Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
r Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
r Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
r Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
r Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
r Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
r Maintains inventory of completed products.
r Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
r Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
r Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
r Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Education: Any Graduate
Industry: Manufacturing/Industrial, Projects/Infrastructure/Power/Energy
