Job Summary:

The Machinist Helper assists skilled machinists and generator technicians in the operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and generators. This role supports daily shop and field activities, ensures tools and equipment are prepared, and maintains a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist machinists in setting up, operating, and cleaning machines Support installation, maintenance, and repair of generators Handle tools, materials, and machine parts safely and correctly Perform basic mechanical tasks such as cleaning parts, measuring, and assembling components Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment Maintain cleanliness of the workshop and work areas Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times Help with routine inspections and report issues to supervisors Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

Basic knowledge of machines, tools, or generators preferred Willingness to learn machining and generator operations Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Good physical condition (lifting, standing, bending) Basic math and measuring skills Attention to safety and detail

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in a machine shop, mechanical, or generator work is an advantage but not required

Work Environment:

Workshop, factory, or field-based work Exposure to noise, machinery, and mechanical equipment

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹28,064.08 per month
