Job Description

Operating Grinding Machines :

Setting up, adjusting, and operating various types of grinding machines, including surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and others.

Interpreting Drawings:

Understanding and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine grinding requirements.

Selecting Grinding Wheels:

Choosing the appropriate abrasive wheels for the specific material and desired finish.

Setting Machine Parameters:

Determining and setting the correct speeds, feeds, and other machine parameters for optimal grinding.

Performing Grinding Operations:

Performing grinding operations, including rough grinding, finish grinding, and deburring.

Quality Control:

Inspecting finished parts for accuracy, dimension, and surface finish, using measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Machine Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance on grinding machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.

Following Safety Procedures:

Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols related to grinding machine operation and materials.
