Job Title : Machinery Engineer (MFG)



Experience : 8-15 Years



Location : Bengaluru



Shift Timing : 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1.30pm to 10.30pm



Roles & Responsibilities
Support all phases of machinery engineering including design, selection, manufacturing, inspection, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of rotating equipment. Prepare, review, and approve machinery specifications, standards, and technical documentation. Review vendor drawings, calculations, and technical reports to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Provide technical support during start-up, operations, and reliability-related issues. Resolve manufacturing quality issues and participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT). Support condition monitoring, machinery performance analysis, and maintenance scope development. Lead initiatives to improve equipment safety, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues and implement long-term solutions. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, projects, and construction teams. Share lessons learned and support continuous improvement of engineering practices and standards.
Requisites
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Strong knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, and associated systems. Understanding of industry codes and standards (e.g., API). Experience in machinery design, inspection, troubleshooting, vibration analysis, and failure mechanisms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
