A Machine Worker operates and maintains manufacturing machines to ensure smooth production, quality output, and safety. The role involves setting up machines, monitoring operations, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining cleanliness and standards on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
Operate machines as per daily production plan.
Set up machines with required tools, molds, or materials.
Monitor machine operations and adjust settings when required.
Maintain quality standards by checking measurements and finishing.
Report any malfunction, unusual noise, or breakdown immediately.
Perform basic maintenance like cleaning, lubrication, tool change.
Follow safety rules, PPE guidelines, and company procedures.
Record daily production data, rejections, and downtime.
Work with supervisors to meet production targets.
Keep the working area clean and organized.
