Job Description

Oversee day-to-day production activities on the shop floor to ensure timely completion of manufacturing targets. Plan, organize, and supervise daily machine shop operations. Prepare and optimize CNC programs (turning, milling, VMC, HMC, etc.) for efficient production. Review drawings, process plans, and ensure correct machining sequences. Monitor machining accuracy, cycle times, and take corrective actions. Lead and guide CNC operators, setters, and machinists for effective performance. Coordinate with design, quality, and production planning teams for smooth workflow. Ensure proper use and maintenance of CNC machines, tools, and fixtures. Implement process improvements, reduce rework, and control machining costs. Maintain production reports, machine utilization, and manpower deployment. Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and 5S practices in the machine shop.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong expertise in CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas / other controllers). Hands-on knowledge of turning, milling, VMC, HMC, and grinding operations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (GD&T).

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering. 6-10 years of experience in a machine shop, with at least 3-5 years in CNC programming and supervisory/managerial role.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹46,000.00 per month
