Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Production Planning & Control
Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Ensure optimal utilization of machines, tools, and manpower.
Coordinate with planning, design, and stores departments for smooth workflow.
Monitor production output and take corrective actions to meet targets.
2. Machine Shop Operations
Oversee operations of conventional and CNC machines such as:
Lathe, VMC, HMC
Milling, Drilling, Boring
Grinding, Slotting, Shaping
Ensure correct selection of tools, cutting parameters, and machining processes.
Approve process plans, machining methods, and cycle times.
3. Quality Control
Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
Implement in-process inspection and final quality checks.
Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection, NCR handling, and corrective actions.
Reduce rework and rejection through process improvement.
