Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Machine Shop Coordinator

with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily shop floor activities, ensuring production schedules are met, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule job orders based on priority and machine availability. Monitor and optimize workflow to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Ensure availability of materials, tools, and fixtures required for production. Liaise with design, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve any production-related issues. Maintain accurate records of production output, machine usage, and labor. Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Provide training and guidance to operators and junior staff as needed.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 1 to 2 years of experience in a machine shop or CNC production environment. Strong understanding of machining processes (CNC turning, milling, grinding, etc.). Familiarity with production planning software or ERP systems is a plus. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S implementation. Knowledge of ISO quality standards. Basic understanding of tool management and machine maintenance.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
