Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup:

Set up CNC machines as per job requirements, including tooling, offsets, fixtures, and program loading.

Verify CNC programs using drawings, process sheets, and inspection standards.

Operation Support:

Assist operators by ensuring machines are set correctly for smooth operation.

Conduct first-off inspection and approve parts for production.

Quality Assurance:

Check dimensions using instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and report any deviations.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine checks of machine, tools, and fixtures.

Follow safety procedures and ensure a clean working environment.

Coordination:

Work closely with production engineers, supervisors, and quality teams.

Provide feedback on machining issues, tool life, and process improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup (Turning/Milling/VMC/HMC).

Ability to read engineering drawings & CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls).

Hands-on knowledge of cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures.

Good knowledge of measuring instruments.

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering.

2-5 years of experience as a CNC Setter in a manufacturing/engineering industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
