Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to run and maintain food processing/packaging machinery in our FMCG production plant. The role involves operating machines as per SOPs, monitoring quality output, ensuring timely production, and maintaining hygiene and safety working standards. The Machine Operator will play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow and minimizing downtime of machines used.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate assigned food processing/packaging machines as per defined parameters.

Monitor machine performance, product quality, and production targets.

Report breakdowns to the maintenance team.

Ensure proper cleaning, lubrication, and upkeep of machines as per preventive maintenance guidelines/SOP.

Record machine output, downtime, and shift-wise production details accurately.

Follow defined manufacturing practices, food safety standards and hygiene standards on production floor.

Ensure adherence to safety norms, PPE usage, and workplace discipline.

Coordinate with Production, QC, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.

Assist in changeovers, material feeding, and process adjustments when required.

Support supervisors in process improvement initiatives.

Skills Required:

Hands-on experience in operating FMCG/food industry machines.

Basic technical knowledge

Understanding of food safety, hygiene requirements, not mandatory.

Ability to read and understand basic work-related instructions/SOPs.

Attention to detail and accuracy in production recording.

Disciplined and willingness to work in shifts.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: ITI / Trade Certificate in Fitter / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant trade.

Experience: Prior work experience in operating food processes/packaging at a FMCG company preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
