A Machine Operator/Labourer sets up, runs, and maintains production machinery, handling tasks from feeding materials and monitoring output quality to basic repairs, while also performing general labour like moving materials and cleaning, requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to strict safety protocols for efficient, quality-controlled manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor machinery (manual, automated, or CNC) to meet production goals. Quality Control: Inspect finished products, make minor adjustments, and identify defects to maintain standards. Material Handling: Load raw materials, unload finished goods, and move items around the workspace. Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine checks, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting; call for maintenance when needed. Documentation: Keep accurate production logs, report issues, and manage inventory. Safety: Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures diligently. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Physical strength and stamina for standing, lifting, and moving. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and basic computer skills. Problem-solving skills and good communication. Team player with self-motivation.
