Job Descripation :

Installation and Assembly:

Install, assemble, and test new or modified machinery and equipment.

Preventative Maintenance:

Follow a schedule to perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections, to prevent malfunctions.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose and fix mechanical, and sometimes electrical, issues. This involves observing equipment in operation, identifying problems, and completing necessary repairs and part replacements.

Equipment Inspection:

Regularly inspect machinery for signs of wear or potential failure, often using diagnostic tools and visual or auditory cues.

Record Keeping:

Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent, often using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or other logging methods.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Inventory and Ordering:

Monitor and maintain a stock of necessary parts and supplies, placing orders as needed.
