Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the machine learning infrastructure that identifies subscriptions based on financial transactions. You will be part of a cross-functional team consisting of Data Analysts, Backend Engineers, and a Product Owner. The primary objective is to build and deploy a highly performant model that processes millions of real transaction data daily to detect new subscriptions and changes. As an ML engineer, you will work with technologies such as Colab/Jupyter/Zeppelin Notebooks, Keras, and Python. The production system will be implemented using Java/Kotlin and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead the full lifecycle of machine learning models, from design to deployment.
• Model Optimization: Continuously refine algorithms for accuracy and efficiency in identifying subscriptions.
• Collaboration: Work with data analysts to understand data structures and anomalies, ensuring effective model iteration.
• Data Pipelines: Establish robust and scalable data pipelines for real-time ML model training and deployment.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest ML developments and integrate new techniques to improve systems.
• Documentation and Compliance: Ensure detailed documentation and adherence to data privacy and security standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engage with product managers to align machine learning solutions with business objectives.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Act as a mentor to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• At least 4 years of relevant AI/ML experience or previous ML experience with strong engineering competencies.
• Broad experience analyzing complex, large-scale data sets, data pipelines, ingestion, and making data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity or hands-on experience with NLP techniques and applications is a plus.
• Proven experience successfully delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments.
• Strong track record of operating credibly at all levels in a fast-paced organization.
• Familiarity with fintech or Banking as a Service is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and other relevant ML tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working with modern technologies and cloud environments.
