Job Description

Monitor and inspect manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Conduct regular in-process inspections at critical stages of production for switchgear and control assemblies.

Identify, document, and report any deviations or non-conformances; initiate corrective actions promptly.

Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues during manufacturing.

Implement and maintain process control plans, inspection checklists, and quality control procedures.

Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for in-process defects.

Verify calibration and proper functioning of inspection and testing equipment used on the shop floor.

Liaise with design, production, and supplier quality teams to address recurring quality concerns.

Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects, to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of in-process inspections, test results, and quality documentation.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 4 years in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in electrical manufacturing, switchgear, or control panel assembly.

* Certifications: Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other quality systems is preferred.
