Develop and implement mall-wide loss prevention and safety strategies.
Supervise security personnel and ensure 24/7 coverage of the mall premises.
Conduct regular patrols, audits, and inspections to identify potential risks or security gaps.
Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and investigate suspicious activities.
Work closely with retail tenants to manage shoplifting, inventory loss, and fraudulent activities.
Train and educate mall staff and tenant employees on security policies and theft prevention.
Coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
Maintain detailed incident reports and loss prevention logs.
Liaise with local police and emergency services as required.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of security equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in loss prevention or security, ideally within mall or retail environments.
Proven ability to manage teams and handle emergency/crisis situations.
Familiarity with safety compliance regulations and mall operations.
Strong analytical, observational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using surveillance and security systems.
Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
