Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Strategic Sourcing Engineer

to drive

local and global sourcing

of machine components and implement

cost-saving initiatives

.
The candidate will manage suppliers, optimize costs, and coordinate closely with

Design, Production, and Quality teams

to ensure timely and first-time-right component availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure critical components:

castings, fabricated parts, electricals, hydraulics, bearings, linear motion systems, spindles, and other machine parts

. Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers; conduct

audits, capability assessments, and quality checks

. Lead

cost reduction and value engineering projects

, including

localization, alternate vendor development, and supplier negotiation

. Work with

Design, Production, and Quality teams

for

part validation, design rectification, and assembly readiness

. Track supplier performance, ensure

on-time delivery and quality compliance

. Maintain sourcing data and reports using

advanced MS Excel

; ERP experience is a plus. Implement

continuous improvement initiatives

across procurement and supplier management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering

.

8 - 10 years' experience

in sourcing/procurement, preferably in

machine tools or heavy machinery

. Strong

negotiation, analytical, and cost management skills

. Experience in

domestic and international sourcing

. Excellent

communication and cross-functional coordination

skills. Proficiency in

MS Excel

(advanced).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
