Job Role - Air Sample Analyst ( Fresher - Only Male Candidates - can apply)

Responsibility & Authority:

1. Follow the laboratory's Quality Policy, Objectives, and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.

2. Assist in conducting ambient air quality monitoring as per CPCB, BIS, and ISO guidelines for parameters such as PM?.?, PM??, SO?, NO?, CO, and O?.

3. Support in stack emission and noise level monitoring activities as directed by senior analysts or the Technical Manager.

4. Learn and help operate air monitoring instruments such as High Volume Samplers, Respirable Dust Samplers, Stack Monitoring Kits, and Gas Analysers under supervision.

5. Assist in the preparation and standardization of filters, reagents, and sampling media used for air quality testing.

6. Follow proper sampling procedures, flow rate calibration, and filter handling methods as per approved SOPs.

7. Help in recording field data such as sampling time, location, environmental conditions, and flow rates accurately in logbooks or digital forms.

8. Ensure collected samples are properly labelled, stored, and transported to the laboratory to prevent contamination or damage.

9. Maintain proper documentation and chain of custody for all samples handled.

10. Assist in data entry, calculation, and report preparation related to air and environmental monitoring activities.

11. Support senior staff in maintaining calibration records, equipment logs, and monitoring data for audit and compliance.

12. Participate in the preparation of daily and monthly air quality monitoring summaries and reports.

13. Follow instructions for implementing corrective or preventive actions (CAPA) as guided by the Technical Manager.

14. Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and safe handling of laboratory and field instruments.

15. Coordinate with team members during site visits and laboratory work to ensure timely completion of sampling and analysis.
